About Us

A vintage car parked on a grassy area near a building. — Elks Lodge
A vintage car parked on a grassy area near a building.

The Elks Lodge #2322 sits on Hanson Road in Kemah, Texas, just minutes from the waterfront, and the building has a story written into every corner of it. Members gather here for fish fries, charitable drives, holiday banquets, and the kind of casual Tuesday-night conversations that somehow stretch past midnight. The floor has a few quirks, the pillars have seen decades of celebrations, and the bar pours cold drinks to people who actually know your name.

The Lodge has earned a 4.5-star reputation across 84 reviews, and the word that keeps showing up is inviting. That is not an accident. The staff, board members, and volunteers here operate with a hospitality standard that most commercial venues charge twice as much to approximate. Wedding receptions fill the hall, fundraisers pack the parking lot, and new faces become regulars faster than they expect.

This is BPOE Lodge #2322, part of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, one of America's oldest fraternal organizations. The Kemah chapter channels that national mission, donating thousands of hours and dollars to veterans, youth programs, and Gulf Coast neighbors who need a hand.

What We Offer

The Lodge serves as both a private membership club and a full-service event venue for the greater Clear Lake and Kemah community. Members enjoy access to the bar and lounge, regular social nights, pool and game areas, and a calendar packed with themed events throughout the year.

For events, the hall accommodates wedding receptions, anniversary parties, retirement celebrations, corporate gatherings, and community fundraisers. The layout was recently praised for being organized effectively around its architectural features, seating sizable parties comfortably with room for a dance floor and catering setup. Rental packages are available for both members and sponsored guests.

Beyond the social side, Lodge #2322 runs active charitable programs: veterans outreach, youth scholarship funds, and local disaster relief efforts tied to the Order's national giving initiatives. Joining the Elks means showing up for those programs, not just the parties, and that dual purpose is exactly what keeps members coming back.

"Went here for a wedding reception. Nice layout overall though lots of pillars that were kind of in the way. Had it organized really well so it worked good. Building is older and part of the floor does not match the other part. In areas they've got a taped piece that cautions but that is worn away in other parts and it was a significant trip hazard. Parking was very limited to"

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
